Value Engineering Construction Residential is a locally owned home builder in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Who we are

Every big-name builder in this market is run from another state. We're the other kind: local people, building one home at a time, on streets we drive every day.

VEC Residential buys individual homesites in established Port Charlotte neighborhoods and builds brand-new single-family homes on them: concrete block, engineered for 160 MPH winds, finished with a feature package most builders call an upgrade sheet.

We were Charlotte County Construction before we were VEC Residential. Same people, same standards, same corner of Port Charlotte — new name on the sign.

VEC Residential is a Florida Certified Residential Contractor, license CRC1329429530.

And we sell them ourselves. No listing agent in the middle, no sales-office script. When you walk one of our homes, you're talking to the people who built it, and your own agent is always welcome.

The floor plans and standard-features spec VEC builds today are his, proven house by house in Charlotte County. Every VEC home is built under his eye.
